Between the two of us, we spent a combined 14 years in professional baseball.
We lived the grind. We rode the buses, played through the injuries, and chased the dream of the Major Leagues with everything we had. But along that journey, we identified a massive gap in the system- two distinct "Identity Cliffs" that professional athletes face, often alone.
The First Cliff: The End of the Road
We watched teammates retire- players who had spent decades mastering the art of discipline, resilience, and teamwork- only to find themselves lost in the "real world."
They possessed intangible skills that any CEO would kill for, but because they lacked a traditional corporate resume, they were overlooked. The market saw a "rookie," but we saw a veteran of high-pressure execution.
